Information Andrew Tedy (b. 2002) is a Chinese-Indonesian documentary and portrait photographer, visual artist, and writer based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
His practice explores memory, identity, belonging, and family history through photography, writing, and archival materials. Drawing from personal experience and collective histories, his work considers how individual lives intersect with broader social, cultural, and historical forces in contemporary Indonesia.
Moving between documentary photography and speculative forms of storytelling, Andrew examines questions of home, cultural inheritance, emotional distance, and the experience of growing up between family histories, digital culture, and globalization.
He studied photography at LaSalle College Jakarta and co-runs Third World Culture, an occasional podcast and cultural platform exploring Southeast Asian and cross-cultural creative perspectives through conversations, essays, and commentary. His writing is forthcoming in Further Reading: Double Take – In Transit, which debuted at the 2026 Melbourne Art Book Fair.
